    I pick my battles when it comes to similar things. My MacBook is objectively better at getting things done than my ThinkPad running Linux Mint. But I get to make free and open source software on my Mac, which is a win and a net positive.

    I've been hanging out with IndieWebClub in Bangalore and it is a nice breakaway from the dead Internet. 30 people, on their laptops, writing on their personal websites—the Internet has never been more alive (yes, I did type an em-dash there).
