Trust was recommended by Dua Lipa. Yes, that Dua Lipa.
I found it through this video that compares her book club interview with Hernan Diaz against other interviews with novelists. The video argues that she read the book closely. She even did her own research and asked Diaz about Ida Tarbell, the journalist whose exposé helped break up the Standard Oil trust.
Not only has she read the book, she’s read it in the way that we want people to read books, not as mindless entertainment.
