The Lost Continent: Travels in Small-Town America is a book I picked up for some reason, although for the life of me, I can’t remember why.

Ever since Amazon started delivering to my small town in Kerala and I started making money, I have been impulsively buying books. So whenever I see someone recommend a book, I do a bit of research on it and then decide to buy it. But I do not read it immediately afterward. So when I pick up these books a year or more later, I do not remember why I wanted to read them.

So why did I get this book? Maybe I wanted to read more travelogues, maybe I wanted to read a funny book, or maybe it’s my romanticization of small-town America and wanting to explore the continent myself.

I can make better use of the “Want to Read” status I have here, but maybe I’m too lazy. Regardless, I’m going to read this and see how it goes.
